Life repeats itself and ends in the way you already saw coming, yet you chose to relentlessly keep at it. Hoping you will be proven wrong and THIS time it’ll be different. Most of the time people wouldn’t surprise us if we only would chose to stop pretending they are the way we WISH them to be, and saw them as the way they truly are.
Let go. It causes too much pain and wasted time to try to change a person. They’ll only go back to the comfortable way they were before. It’s what they know, it’s what’s easy.
